Breanne Houston, Owner

I’ve been married to my wonderful husband Jesse since 2005 and we have 2 beautiful boys, Charlie and Oliver. I took over T3 Fitness Energy in July of 2011, which includes Riverside Zumba, Riverside R.I.P.P.E.D. I also run Stroller Strides and Body Back in Riverside & Corona/Norco. I’ve been active my whole life, but discovered my passion for fitness after having my first son in 2006. I joined a class called Stroller Strides and learned how fun getting in shape can be. In 2007, I purchased my first Stroller Strides Franchise and been a franchisee ever since. I now own 2 franchises in the city of Riverside and Corona, including parts of Corona, Norco and Eastvale. In 2010, we launched Body Back, an 8 week result driven program for Moms. We had so much success changing the moms lives with this program, women who weren’t moms wanted to try it too. Body Back has grown into a program for all Women, of all ages. T3 Fitness Energy offers everyone a way to get in shape, stay in shape and have fun. Our passion is to get our community fit and have fun doing it. My personal moto:  there is nothing you can’t do, unless you don’t try.

Clarita Quinones, Zumba

From Cali, Colombia, Clarita has been married for 8 years and has a beautiful 4-year old daughter. She is passionate about teaching Zumba offering high-energy and inspiration at each of her classes. Before becoming a Zumba instructor, Clarita took classes for two years and has now been teaching for almost two years. “I love Zumba because it is such a fun way to burn calories without feeling that you are exercising. For that exciting reason, I invite you to ditch the workout and join the party!” Join Clarita on Tuesday nights and Saturday mornings.

Nicole Perkins, Zumba

Nicole started taking Zumba classes at Riverside Zumba Studio in April of 2010 just as a way to get out of the house. She instantly became hooked, but being self-conscious about her weight would stand in the back corner where she could not see herself in the mirror.

Coming from a dance background and always having an interest in fitness since a teenager, Nicole knew that one day she wanted to teach Zumba fitness. Before she could second-guess herself out of it, she signed up for the next training at the IDEA Fitness Convention in Los Angeles on August 4th, 2010. When R.I.P.P.E.D. came to the studio, it took everything to the next level. Nicole started seeing her body tone up and change in amazing ways. It gave her a new confidence that she had never had and she ventured away from her corner and stood right in front of the mirror with pride. Seeing these incredible results and feeling the empowering vibe of R.I.P.P.E.D. encouraged Nicole to become a certified instructor on December 4th, 2010. Now she works full-time as a Zumba instructor, R.I.P.P.E.D. instructor, a Zumba in the Circuit Curves instructor, and does private lessons. So far, she has lost 15 pounds and 5 inches around her waist. She is looking forward to all of the exciting and positive advancements in the fitness world. She also hopes to make wonderful differences in people’s lives and with various charity organizations. Join Nicole on Tuesday nights and Thursday mornings.

Ninfa Delgado

Ninfa’s full-time job is Vice President with Riverside Community Health Foundation. Her full-time passion is also Zumba and this Latino Chicka is on fire during her classes. She’s been an instructor for 3 years. You’ll love her salsa moves and grooves. She came across Zumba by chance and decided to train as an Instructor in January 2008. Ninfa had never even seen it before or taken a class! She heard it involved dance and that was enough. As it turns out, it was as if Zumba was designed especially for her! Music has always been an important part of Ninfa’s life and although she has a dance background and LOVES to dance, she couldn’t seem to stick with a regular workout routine for more than four months – until Zumba. Not only did she lose 4 dress sizes with Zumba, but she actually enjoys the workout and has more energy than ever. “I do Zumba ‘on the side’ as I have a full time job. But, I love transmitting my energy to my students and helping them feel ‘Zumba-fied’.  Seeing and hearing the stories from my students about how Zumba has changed their lives (as it has mine!) through weight-loss, loss of inches and just having a new positive perspective on life with increased energy, is enough to keep me teaching and doing Zumba as much as I can. Zumba truly is for everyone. invite YOU to join the party, and become part of the Zumba family!” Join Ninfa on Wednesday nights.

Shaunita Lewis, Zumba & Hip-Hop

Shaunita is one of our inspiring Zumba instructors at Riverside Zumba. She also teaches hip-hop classes. Here's her story -- proving, once again, the power of Zumba.

"I am a dancer at heart! It has always been my passion-when I'm not feeling my best, I turn on some music, my body starts to move, and suddenly everything is perfect! I was on Hip Hop dance teams in both High School and College, but when it came to an end at the age of 19, I found myself rapidly gaining weight. In about a year's time I had gone from 135 to 200 lbs, that's 65 lbs and I'm 5'6! I married at 20 yrs. old and was pregnant with my first child at 21, by the end of the pregnancy I had reached 236 lbs. Life was progressing quickly and so was the scale! I had to do something.

I managed to get down to 165 lbs. after having my son, by running on the treadmill everyday. I ran Track in High School-but I quit to join the Dance Team, so I was familiar with running but I wasn't having fun...which is why I quit!

It wasn't until after I had my second son that I happened to come across Zumba, while surfing the net for a stay at home mom's group. I went to the first class, weighing 165 lbs, and was immediately hooked! It was the perfect combination of dance, fitness, fun, and excitement.  At the end of class, the instructor, Kat Johnson, asked if anyone was interested in becoming an instructor and my hand shot up. I knew she was a Godsend-this was exactly what I needed in my life. So, on June 29, 2008 about a month after taking my first Zumba class, I became a Certified Zumba Instructor and I have been bringing it ever since. I'm now 28 years old have also lost an additional 15 lbs, gained muscle, and most importantly gained confidence."

Amy Kuntz, RIPPED

Amy learned about T3 Fitness Energy when she started Zumba classes in March 2010.  She immediately fell in love with the classes.  Through Riverside Zumba, she met some awesome friends and got motivated to change her lifestyle, diet, and exercise. At the time she started working out, she was 144 pounds. It might not sound big, but when you're 5 ft tall, it is!  By May, she was down to 129 pounds and knew she could push herself further and that there was a strong athlete inside me, so she added personal training with Christi and RIPPED classes.

Adding weight training to my cardio immediately changed my body and in 3 weeks I lost 3% body fat, 6 more pounds, and 12 inches all around my body! In total, she has gone from a size 10 to a size 2!  The program she fell in love with was RIPPED – the full body workout, the variety in routines, and the fun music. The classes have become a stress release after a long day at work teaching 5th graders. In September 2010, she became a certified RIPPED instructor and has been teaching ever since.  Amy loves all of her workout buddies and students and they bond over their love of the program, the energy and enthusiasm shared, and the camaraderie that we are all in it together! Amy loves sharing her success story with others and will still say she’s a work in progress. “With the encouragement and support that we find in each other, T3 Fitness Energy is an ideal place to achieve your fitness goals!”

Leah Luke, RIPPED

Leah is a certified R.I.P.P.E.D. instructor and a big believer that "age is merely a number".  She grew up in a small farm town in Ohio, but has been a California girl since graduating from college in 1987. Leah supports the notion that fitness is a team effort so let's do it!

She is certainly no stranger to working out, having spent the majority of her life struggling to maintain a healthy balance with food and fitness. It was a year ago when she discovered Zumba/R.I.P.P.E.D. and truly found it to be a "one stop body shock" for her.  Not only did she fall in love with its energy and music, but the way it brought people together in such a unique way that she'd never seen before. Leah's background as an elementary teacher for 24 years provided the perfect foundation to become a R.I.P.P.E.D. instructor.  She is passionate about everyone who walks through the studio door. Leah is high energy and wants to move, sweat, and have fun.  She loves exercising and motivating others and is definitely ready to be on YOUR fitness team! She’s our “early-bird” teacher – for some reason some people love to workout at 5AM! Well, she’s the one to get everyone smiling for the day. Her energy is off-the-hook, crazy fun and you’ll love her Tuesday and Thursday early morning classes.

Amy Schumacher, RIPPED

Sports and fitness have been apart of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years I have had the opportunity to compete in everything from dance and cheerleading to soccer, swimming and basketball. I found my true passion for indoor volleyball and went on to play at the collegiate lever for the nationally ranked Cal State San Bernadino women's volleyball team from 1998-2001. Once college and volleyball were over I struggled to find an activity that was both challening and could keep my interest for longer than a couple months. I also struggled to find time to workout between my career as a CPA, my husband and my two amazing children I had along the way. Exercise regimes came and went and it wasn't until the summer of 2010 that my lifelong friend and now fellow instructor, Amy Kuntz, introduced me to R.I.P.P.E.D. She shared with me her story of how both Zumba and R.I.P.P.E.D had transformed her body and invited me to a class to see what it was all about. She knew my love for athletics and a healthy lifestyle and knew that I would love R.I.P.P.E.D... she was right! From the first class, I was hooked! The class is a perfect mis of weightlifting, cardio and core and strength training; all set to awesome music that makes you want to dance. It is truly my one stop body shock!!! In April of 2011 I became a certified instructor and am so excited to share my fitness knowledge with all of you! Come workout with me on Friday mornings at 9am!
